Aleksandr Bubnov is of the belief that Rostov are capable of winning against the Spartachi despite the Moscow-based club’s decent form in the ongoing season under newly appointed manager, Unai Emery.
Emery, who joined the Red-whites after leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kim-c20955 Kallstrom.
Rostov were knocked out by Rubin Kazan in the semi-finals of the tournament after winning the quarter-final against FC Fakel.
Bubnov revealed that a win in the forthcoming match against the Moscow-based club will give the Selmashi enough motivation to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament this time around.
“Spartak and Rostov recently played in the championship. In principle, they showed true class in match in principle and showed that they can safely play with the red and white on an equal footing. They have a decent squad to compete
with the Russian giants.”
“This is the case when both teams will fight for victory until the last minute of the match because this is not a championship match. The coaches will play with younger sides and a different strategy as the fans are waiting for
an exciting and interesting match.” The Soviet Top League winner was quoted as saying.
The fact that Anzhi Makhachkala have been drawn against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara in the cup tournament excites Bubnov, who believes that the spectators will see a lot of goals during the corresponding fixture.
The Russian analyst refused to admit that the Makhachkala-based club are favourites to win the cup tie, saying that the Dagestani club should not underestimate the Wings of the Soviet.
