In the latest round of Russian Premier League action, Mordovia Saransk managed to defeat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 3-0 at Stadion start (Saransk) on Friday.
Though the visiting team were just one goal down until the end of the first-half, they failed to get an equalizer and conceded two more goals during the second-half of the match on the away turf.
Rostov have now suffered their third defeat in a row, having already lost against CSKA Moscow and Anzhi Makhachkala previously. As things stand, they are at the fifteenth spot on the league table.
The Selmashi head coach, Miodrag Bozovic, has lamented his side’s below par start to the league campaign this season, admitting that they need to do a lot of hard work in a bid to reclaim a decent spot on the league table.
Bozovic insisted that Saransk, who were promoted to the Russian top division from Russian first division last season, are a great club with decent set of players.
The former Dynamo Moscow head coach revealed that Mordovia were unlucky to lose the opening two league matches against Lokomotiv and Kuban Krasnodar prior to their match against the Selmashi.
