FC Spartak Moscow’s Sergei Gorlukovich lauds Andrey Kobelev appointment at Kryliya Sovetov

Russian expert and former Spartak Moscow defender, Sergei Gorlukovich, has heaped on PFK Samara Kryliya Sovetov for the recruitment of Andrey Kobelev as their head coach.

The former Dynamo Moscow manager has filled the void left by Alexander Tarkhanov. It is reported that Kobelev signed a three-year contract with the Russian club after meeting the club president.

“I wish Andrew luck in Samara, though it will be hard ahead. But he certainly knows what goes on and ready for testing.” Sergei Gorlukovich said.

Gorlukovich has expressed his delight over the signing of a local specialist and revealed the difficulties ahead for the new manager at the Russian club. Gorlukovich, who is currently managing FC SKA-Energiya Khabarovsk, believes that Kobelev can turn the
tables at his new club. He also hoped that Russian national would lead the Zelyono-belo-sinie out of the relegation zone.

The former Russian defender explained that it’s difficult to analyse Sovetov’s decision to choose the rats while other offers were on the table including that of Spartak Moscow. Gorlukovich believes that the newly hired manager has the potential to pull
the club out of the relegation zone.

Lastly, the senior analyst expressed optimism for Kryliya Sovetov as there is still a long way to go in the Russian Premier League.

Sovetov managed to win just two home games under their former manager as the club lacked discipline to go along with poor results. The outfit were forced to part company with the back room staff and demanded a resignation from Tarkhanov after the defeat
against FC Tom Tomsk.

Currently Kryliya Sovetov are at the bottom of the league table with Spartak Nalchik being just above them, while two points separate FK Rostov-Na-Donu from the league lagers.
