FC Tom Tomsk winger, Denis Boyarintsev, has denied reports suggesting that the Siberians will not play the upcoming Russian Premier League clash against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 at Olimp-2, Rostov-on-Don.
Reports in Russia had suggested that the Asian players were not receiving their salaries following the club’s poor economical situation, and have refused to take further part in the Russian top division. Boyarintsev has denied
the claims, revealing that the players are ready for the fight against the Byki.
The Russian national blamed the previous management for the Russian outfit’s current state, revealing that it failed to fulfil the funding promises.
“Yesterday we had a meeting which was held at the club and after a long conversation, the team has decided to play the match in Rostov-on-Don. The club officials have not given us any financial good news. The situation remains
the same, but we decided to play the match for the fans.” Boyarintsev was quoted as saying.
He added: “The training process has not affected and the squad has worked out in full mode, despite the present situation. I think the team will play to their full potential.”
Having won only four league fixtures this season, the White-Greens are at the bottom of the league table, fighting for their Russian Premier League survival.
Knowing that the Russian outfit are still in a relegation battle, Boyarintsev urged Tomsk to alter the situation in the upcoming league matches. The former Rubin Kazan player is of the belief that the squad has faith in head coach
Sergei Perednya, identifying him as their only hope.
The promising winger revealed that the Siberians are working hard at the moment, and highlighted their dedication and character in their recent performances despite poor results.
Tomsk won 2-1 against Zenit St. Petersburg during the first round of the Russian championship, and Boyarintsev is of the belief that the Asian have the strength to outplay stern opposition.
Boyarintsev went on to admit that the team will play to its potential despite the critical situation at the Russian outfit, assuring the fans of recovery as soon as possible.
