FC Twente Enschede dismiss Fulham FC’s interest in Nacer Chadli and Bryan Ruiz – Eredivisie news
Reports from De Grolsch Veste confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 Enschede have dismissed Fulham FC’s interest in signing Nacer Chadli and Bryan Ruiz in the ongoing summer transfer market. The Tukkers’ duo has attracted interest from a host of European clubs following
their impressive stint in the 2010/11 campaign at De Grolsch Veste.
Martin Jol, Fulham head coach, is known to be a great admirer of Chadli and Ruiz from his time in charge of Ajax Amsterdam. Reports in Dutch media suggest that the Cottagers tabled a bid in the region of 5 million Euros to land Chadli’s signature while expressing
their interest in signing Ruiz before the summer transfer window slams shut.
However, the Tukkers chairman Joop Munsterman rejected the English Premier League outfit’s offer for the Belgian International and revealed that the bid is only half of their evaluation of the winger.
“The offer for Chadli, we consider half a bid, so we are not seriously impressed”, Munsterman said while talking to the journalists.
Furthermore, the Tukkers chairman added that the Cottagers should forget signing Ruiz as the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458 Rican ace himself does not intend to join Fulham.
“And Bryan did not even want to go to Fulham”, Munsterman added.
Ruiz has been heavily linked with a move away from De Grolsch Veste to join Tottenham Hotspur before the end of the ongoing summer transfer market. Reports suggest that the Tukkers would not let go of their star winger for anything under 15 million Euros
this summer.
Meanwhile, reports in English media claim that Jol has reportedly turned his attention to Leeds United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Gradel as an alternative for Ruiz. However, the Ivorian International has revealed that he does not know about the Whites taking interest in signing
him.
“Are Fulham interested in me? Yes, I know that West Ham United has expressed interest in signing me this summer”, Gardel said.
With Fulham now taking interest in Gardel, it seems unlikely that they would be coming up with a new offer for Chadli before the summer transfer window slams shut.
