FC Twente Enschede’s Marc Janko happy with his side’s performance this season – Eredivisie news
FC Twente Enschede striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marc-Janko-c23484, has revealed that he is happy with his side’s performance this season. In spite of frequent injuries, the striker has played well in the ongoing 2010/11 season and has impressed everyone with his performances.
The towering striker has been a sensational find for the Tukkers. He joined Twente at the start of the season before scoring 75 goals in 108 appearances for FC Red Bull Salzburg. The 27-year-old striker was heavily criticized for being sidelined too frequently
with injuries but the Austrian International has let his football do the talking.
Janko said, “Despite many injuries I have scored fourteen times in 28 league matches.”
The Austrian International scored the winning goal in the Tukkers’ KNVB beker Cup final triumph over Ajax Amsterdam on Sunday, May 8. The striker describes the winner as one of the best goals of his career. Janko came off from the bench to snatch the winner
in the second-half of the extra-time.

The Tukkers will travel to Amsterdam to face Ajax at Amsterdam Arena in a title decisive encounter on Sunday, May 15.
The 27-year-old striker praised the FC Twente establishment and is impressed by the strength of the squad. He said, “We can always comeback after a lag and we have the best players not only on the field, but also on the bench.”
