Reports from Enschede confirm the exclusion of FC Twente Enschede’s Bryan Ruiz from the pre-season training camp held in Belgium. Co Adriaanse, the Tukkers new manager, does not want to rush things for the Costa Rican International and wants him at peak
fitness before the 2011/12 campaign commences.

the club’s history. However, the Costa Rican International was hit with injuries in the recently concluded season and played only 27 matches, netting a still decent nine times.
The 25-year-old represented his national side in the Gold Cup held in the US and then went on to enjoy three weeks of holidays. Adriaanse, however, called back the striker early to join his teammates for the pre-season training.
The Tukkers tactician believes that the striker is a great asset for his side and admitted that he wants his best players to be 100 percent ahead of the new season.
“Ruiz had a season with some injuries that forced him to miss many games. We now want to build him quietly, without taking any chances”, Adriaanse said while talking to the media.
After an unimpressive season, the highly-rated striker himself wants to regain full fitness and revealed that he played the last month of the season ended only for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 of his club.
“After my knee injury late last year, I never felt 100 percent fit. It was evident in the last league match again Ajax. I wanted to the last month off, but I played for the love of the game and my club and therefore, I might have forced too much”, Ruiz was
quoted as saying to the journalists.
The Costa Rican International would be looking to prove his fitness to his coach before the start of the 2011/12 campaign. However, his current situation suggests that the striker would not be able to lead the Tukkers’ attacking third in the UEFA Champions
League qualifying.
