FC Twente manager Michel Preud’homme confident of beating PSV Eindhoven
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 Enschede will take on the Eredivisie leaders, PSV Eindhoven, at De Grolsch Veste on Saturday, April 2nd. It’s a top of the table clash that has the potential to work out as the title decider. However, the Tukkers manager, Michel Preud’homme, does not think that the game against the Boeren would be decisive in the title race.
The Tukkers are currently placed second in the league table, trailing the league leaders by a solitary point. The reigning Eredivisie champions have a very good chance of snatching the top spot from the Boeren in the upcoming encounter. However, they will have to give in one of their best performances of the season to bag all three points. PSV have played brilliantly this season and Preud’homme will have to warn his men against complacency.
Preud’homme said, “We have six key games ahead. We are still fighting on three fronts and we’ll try to win as much as possible. With a good result against PSV, we will still have five games to play. It is unlikely that the championship will be decided this Saturday.”
The Belgian trainer is confident that his troops can emerge victorious in this crucial encounter, as they have performed impressively on the pitch in front of their home crowd. However, the 52-year-old tactician has warned his players about their opponent’s potential. He also insisted that the Tukkers should not get carried away over the home advantage.
The Belgian tactician added, “We always try to play good football. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 have a strong team, but we also have a very balanced team. We will start the game with confidence. There is little difference between us. The home advantage can be very important to us.”
The Reds are currently competing on three fronts, Eredivisie, KNVB beker Cup, and Europa League. Expectations are sky-high in Enschede, as the fans are certain that their beloved side will win silverware this season.
