The Tukkers president Joop Munsterman confirms that his side is far from reaching an agreement with the Serie A powerhouse, but insisted that they will not rush into any move for the striker.

Joop Munsterman, the Tukkers president, has now confirmed that his side has thus far failed to meet Inter’s asking price for Castaignos.
“There is a considerable difference between our offer and their asking price. We should think more about it before raising our offer. I will not allow raising our bid further. It will take some time, but I hope everything will
be settled before long”, Munsterman was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
Reports indicate that FC Twente have thus far tabled a bid in the region of five million Euros to acquire the youngster’s services.
Meanwhile, reports in English media also indicate that Queen Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 are taking keen interest in signing the talented striker in the ongoing summer transfer window, and have reportedly tabled a bid in the region of seven million
Euros as well.
However, with the Tukkers competing in the UEFA Europa League next term, Castaignos will certainly prefer moving to De Grolsch Veste rather than moving to the English Premier League side.
If rumours are to be believed, Castaignos’ former club Feyenoord have also expressed interest in luring the striker back to De Kuip Stadion.
