Reports from Enschede confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Anzhi-Makhachkala-c39068, in favour of staying at De Grolsch Veste. The 28-year-old has clearly indicated that he does
not intend to move away from his current club in the ongoing summer transfer market.
The Austrian International arrived at De Grolsch Veste only in the summer of 2010 after making well over 100 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg. The lanky forward netted an impressive 14 goals in 29 appearances for the Tukkers in the season ended and attracted
interest from a host of elite European clubs.
Georg Stangassinger, Janko’s agent, has revealed that his client does not intend to live in the cold of Russia. He admitted that although Anzi presented a tempting offer, his client is content with life in Enschede.
“Marc does not want to live in Russia. Moreover, he is not ready to leave FC Twente”, Stangassinger was quoted as saying to the media.
The midfielder was far from happy last season working under Michel Preud’homme and had desired to make a move away from De Grolsch Veste in the summer transfer market. However, Co Adriaanse’s appointment forced the 28-year-old’s stance. Janko is now willing
to prolong his stay in Enschede.
The Austrian International was earlier deemed destined to pursue his career in Serie A in the new season. Bologna, Cagliari, Fiorentina and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 had all shown interest in his services. However, the 28-year-old mooted speculations linking him with
a move to the Italian peninsula.
Nonetheless, the Tukkers management would be extremely delighted with the striker’s decision to stay at De Grolsch Veste for yet another season.
