The Tukkers' veteran goalkeeper has expressed his desire to play at least one more season at De Grolsch Veste before hanging his gloves.

The 41-year-old gloves-man started his professional career at De Grolsch Veste in the summer of 1989, and racked up 356 appearances before moving to Ajax Amsterdam at the start of 2003/04 season.

The 41-year-old returned to De Grolsch Veste in the summer of 2004, and has represented the Enschede giants in 193 matches since his return.
Boschker is currently sidelined due to a calf injury, but the veteran shot-stopper has insisted that he does not want to end his career while recovering from a injury and has expressed his desire to play for another season.
“I still enjoy it and am still very motivated. In addition, I still am injured, I do not want to end with such a year. I want a dignified farewell”, Boschker was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
The veteran gloves man has an expiring contract at De Grolsch Veste that runs until the end of the ongoing 2011/12 campaign. Though the club management is yet to approach the Dutch national with a new contract, the shot-stopper is confident that his side
will offer him an extension to his current contract.
“From the club I have not heard anything, but it is only January. If I am fit again there will undoubtedly be a conversation with the coach Steve McClaren and the chairman Joop Munsterman”, Boschker concluded.
The Tukkers head coach, Steve McClaren, had earlier revealed that his side has great respect for the vastly experienced goalkeeper, adding that he is a part of the history now and the club must look forward.
