The Tukkers will lock horns against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RKC-Waalwijk-c40370 in two-legged play-offs encounter and the former England boss has urged his troops to perform at their best if they are to compete in Europe’s second tier competition.

Stadion on Friday, May 11.
The Tukkers finished the 2011/12 campaign at the sixth spot, and will have to win Europa League play-offs if they are to compete in the competition next term.
McClaren, who took over the managerial hot seat at De Grolsch Veste earlier this year from Co Adriaanse, has insisted that his side will now have to put in all their efforts in the upcoming play-offs encounters.
“We have now no choice, but to play to our potential and succeed. We have nobody to blame for this position but ourselves, so we have to make amends”, the English trainer was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager went on to stress that they will now have to put in strong performances as a unit.
“We need guys who want to fight and are willing to put in extra efforts to win matches. We must now fight as a team. If I have to bring younger players to do the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, I will not hesitate. What this team has shown in the final weeks,
it is unacceptable”, McClaren added.
Despite a poor finish to the 2011/12 season, the Englishman is hoping that his side somehow manage to win the play-offs.
“We must now ensure that we have a good end to the season by winning the play-offs. Then, we will have a short break before reforming for the next season”, McClaren concluded.
FC Twente are the favourites against RKC to progress through to the next round. However, the Waalwijk outfit have grinded out astonishing results since earning promotion to the Dutch top tier earlier this season and will not give
away their European aspirations without a fight.
