FC Utrecht cruised to a 6-4 win over Ajax Amsterdam at Stadion Galgenwaard on Sunday, November 6. Frank de Boer, the Amsterdammers boss, believes his side staged a better performance on the pitch away from home despite losing the match by the end of 90 minutes.
The Dutch mentor revealed that his side remained the better side but admitted that his defence failed to defend properly.
“Am I angry? No, rather bewildered. I find this really incredible. The weird thing is that today I have seen many good things. But we defended poorly and when you give away goals like that it becomes difficult. Although, when we were 5-3 down I felt we could
still win it, I felt we were 10 times better than Utrecht”, De Boer was quoted as saying to the media.
The Amsterdam giants boss then went on to reveal that the Utreg only played long balls and were successful.
“Utrecht really only played one way, a long ball up the field and then a quick pass to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jacob-Mulenga-c17488 to finish”, De Boer concluded.

Four minutes before the half-time break, Bulykin scored his second of the evening to make the score-line 3-2.
In the 49th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daan-Bovenberg-c9693 headed home to even things up again. Three minutes later, Mulenga scored his second to make the score-line 4-3 in favour of the hosts.
