In what way can this be considered in the best interest of the American people?

When are we, as Americans going to rise up and demand that our government return to "A government FOR the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE?"

Yeah, well until we get the current regime out of power, I'm afraid all we can do is keep writing letters, oh, and voting of course...unless they are fixing that, too. Am I paranoid? Or just not as naive as I used to be?

I think we'll have to push for campaign reform. Without big business money (and lobbyists), those who represent us may just stop to listen once in a while.
