FCC license and it's Canadian equivalent?

Hi,

I'm in Canada. I was looking online on amazon.com to purchase those 2 pack 2 way radios. But I heard that if we want to access the upper channels to get more range, we need to get an FCC license. FCC is a US regulated body and I am in Canada.

Can anyone tell me if there is an equivalent Canadian regulatory body that issues radio licenses.
