Hello,
I am looking for information, especially from parents or teachers, who have experience with FDLRS, or the FL exceptional student education system that provides diagnosis and testing, as well as early childhood services. I have been on their website but cannot make heads nor tails of it. For informational purposes, I am a psychologist who has just moved to Florida and who has experience in testing for autism and other early childhood issues.
Does this system help parents? Is there a long wait time? Do they have vendors or who does the testing? And who actually provides the services, such as speech or occupational therapy, ABA or early intervention?
Thank you very much!
