My sister just started school (11th grader) and she even admits she's not up to date with the fashion these days..and askin me to ask you smart fashionly gifted ladies for some help. She is wondering if you could provide her some 'outfit' ideas so she can go shopping and get right into style. We both thank you!

  3. this autumn big fashion trends:

tassels, purple footwear, tartan, brightly coloured tights, blazers, vintage.

but not all at once or it'll look OTT!

footwear: for just muckin about converse is always a winner

dolly shoes with a girly outfit

or kitten heels for something more glamorous

    tops:

vest tops if you have a patterned/busy skirt or something... otherwise off the shoulder tops are always cute

avoid ANY padding/ruffles around the sleeves

hoodies are nice, can be girly OR tomboy, and look great with anything.

long cardigans are in for autumn, but stick to black to avoid looking childish!

jeans should be skinny/kickflare, either washed out faded denim with rips for a scruffy look or dark denim with dimante details- ALWAYS with pockets on the back.

shorts are always cute, high waisted shorts are coming into fashion! and for added confidence team with some tights and dolly shoes or grab the fake tan!!

denim mini skirts, make sure it doesn't stick out at the back

brightly coloured skinnies are good, but floral patterned skirts/any skirt other than denim is a no-no

    cute outfits:

    girly

    dolly shoes

    mini skirt

    opaque tights/flesh tights

    a cardigan

    slouchy

    ripped faded denim jeans

vest top in a cute colour

    converse

    hoodie

accessoires are the real statement pieces- waist belts to add volume, silver jewellery and wear your hair however

good luck to you n ur sister! i wish my brother was as nice as you!

  5. I'm not going to make an outfit, as I'm a bit too lazy at the moment, sorry, and I think you should make the choice herself. I've got some tips though. :) Go to the store and stock up on a bunch of fashion magazines, and since you're younger than I am, I'm 15 in 2 weeks, so you may not read the same magazines as me. But go pick out cool fashion magazines to buy, so you gets some inspiration. Flick through the magazines, and when you find something you like, you can see where to buy it, and if it isn't available you can start looking out for something similar. Just try to avoid being a fashion sheep, and buy some key pieces for each season. Some of the magazines I read are: Sugar, Seventeen, Cosmo!Girl, Teen Vogue and a few others. I didn't read them when I was 11, but they at least have really nice clothes in them. :) Also shop at the local mall. The look you can't go wrong with is: tank top, hoodie, jeans and flats plus a cute handbag! Good luck! :)
