  1. There are various enterprises in FFA.  That's not the issue, its a matter of having a local chapter at your school.  I know students that wasn't from the farm do home improvement, gardening, job placement and habitat for humanity to suffice entrepreneurial requirements.

  2. Nope.

You can work at a vet office, grow your own garden.

    Work at a farm.

    Do landscaping.

You can go and work for someone who has a farm ect.

You could work at a flower shop, dog groomer, any thing like that.

If you like tractors you could apprentice a tractor mechanic.

Anything that has to do with agriculture. You can have your own entrepreneurship (business) or just have a placement job somewhere.

Good Luck and the teachers in the FFA programs will help you find you project which is called a SAE.

  3. No, you just have to kill Earl...

  4. No you do not.  As some of the other readers pointed out there are many other activities within the FFA organization that you could be involved in.  Talk with your school's FFA teacher.  He'll be better able to advise you of all the various things you could do.

  5. Not at all!  There are so many things to learn & do in FFA.  Talk to the teacher and he or she will give you lots of ideas.

  6. No!  There are many other things that you can do in FFA!

  7. no you do not, in my chapter there are a lot of people who only have some fish or has nothing to do with agriculture, but they wanted to learn more about it... as a member of the FFA you have to have a SAE... a supervised agricultural experience... you can either raise an animal, or work somewhere, you can work at a local farm, nursery, even a flower shop.. the list of agriculture jobs is endless... your first year in the program you usually don't need one, but near the end of the year you will need to find one, and don't worry, the teachers will help you.  Being in the FFA is a great experience, you learn a lot of great things, not only agricultural and meet a ton of great people, good luck with everything that you do

  8. no go to ffa.org and check it out it has lists of sae's ( supervised agricultural experience) that are approved.  talk to the chapter advisor they will also have ideas for involvement.
