FFVII Crisis Core: Zack's Aging?

Question

Does Zack physically age throughout Crisis Core? I know he goes from 16-23 during the game and he dies at 23. Is there any timeline to his aging or any physical indication? Thanks so much!

Well other than the hairstyle I noticed his voice got deeper as you progressed through the game, He started sounded less child like and more mature in the end.
