FFXII Final Fantasy 12 Help Please!!! Thunderbug, Charged Gizzard.?

I am at 100 chained kills of the Thunderbug in Henne Mines, I'm trying to get 3 Charged Gizzards to make The Scorpion. I haven't gotten even one. Am I **** out of luck? I'm later in the game. Over 100 hours. I read that they either drop or poach these items. I'm not poaching at all, just killing. I haven't seen one Charged Gizzard. I go 2 zones away to respawn the Thunderbugs. Is there an easier way to respawn enemies? Is there something that I need to equip to make getting rare items easier? I also am having trouble getting Water Crystal's. Where is the best place to get these?

I had the worst trouble getting those charged gizzards!  Contrary to the other poster, I found getting drops easier than poaching.  Just be sure you have Knight's Monograph as the charged gizzard is a rare drop.  Also, if you DON'T pick up the drops until you reach the highest chain level, you will reach the highest chain level faster. The higher the chain level, the better the drops.

As for water crystals, the best place to get them is from the Water Elementals in the Garamscythe Waterway.  For stealing, be sure to have Thief's Cuffs equipped.  For drops, be sure to have the Sage's Monograph.

Monographs are expensive and can be purchased from the Clan Provisioner.  The Knigh'ts Monograph will appear when you have talked to any weapon merchant more than 30 times and costs 19,000 gil.  The Sage's Monograph will appear when you have talked to any merchants more than 100 times and costs 25,000 gil.

try poachin, instead of just killing

consider just gettin the golden axe. u can just buy it at a store, its only 10 less attack points, and much less of a hassle to get
