FIA intends to correct nose step rules flaw for 2013 season – Formula 1 news

Furthermore, two times world champion Sebastian Vettel also admitted that the 2012 outcome of the car design “doesn’t look that nice.”
However, he expressed to Britain’s Sun newspaper, “For next year’s cars, the steps will be gone.”

It had been emerged that technical head of Red Bull Racing, Adrian Newey who had mastered the underneath philosophy of higher chassis, intended to keep the height of the monocoque same as last year so that the teams like Toro Rosso would not need to completely
design the new monocoque and the front suspension.
Moreover, there has been a lot of discussion going on by the teams about this matter while renowned publications around the world are commenting on the weird designs of the cars for the forthcoming season staring in Australia next month.
Former Grand Prix driver Christian Danner said the current solution is “ghastly.”
“I think it will be fixed for next year,” he told Austrian television Servus TV.
Agreed Nick Heidfeld, “Yes, I am sure the FIA will make a few changes next year so there’s not such a huge hump. On the other hand, it’s like a few years ago when the rear and front wings were changed; it doesn’t look quite so bad once you get used to it.
Of course, you’d always prefer something that looks nicer.”
Nevertheless, the FIA has recently shown its intentions for the correction of the nose step rules and eliminating any loopholes which are present in the regulations for the sake of better looks and designs of the cars for the 2013 season.
