Korea routed Uzbekistan, 106-57 on Monday in the Eight-Final round of the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship. The Koreans were all over the Uzbeks right from the start and barely let them breath.

Korea dented the spirits of the Uzbeks straight away in the first quarter completely running over their defence to take a 30-11 at its close.
The one way traffic continued in the second quarter as well, as the Korean offense kept finding inroads in the weak defence of the Uzbeks. When the teams went into the locker rooms at halftime, Korea was enjoying a comfortable
lead over Uzbekistan at 52-24.
The story didn’t change after the break and Korea scorched the Uzbekistan with their ferocious assault to register the game in their favour by a huge difference of 49 points.
Philippines 72 – Jordan 64
A dominating second half enabled team Philippines to overcome Jordan 72-64 on Monday and register a vital win in the Eight-Final round.

Philippines struggled in the beginning and Jordan took full advantage of that. With the Filipinos struggling to find their footing from the floor, the Jordanians raced off to a 20-11 lead after the first 10 minutes.
Philippines got themselves together in the second quarter and tightened things up on both ends of the court. They outscored the Jordanians 15-11 during the second quarter to make it a five point game going into the break.
