Tiago Splitter
Brazilian centre, Tiago Splitter is another player who has loads of talent and confidence that makes him one of the best in the business. NBA experts suggest that there is a special player in every team who is flooded with skill and talent, and with time and experience he manages to reach the top. The top player in the Brazilian squad is Tiago Splitter. This extravagant player had a splendid last season in the Spanish League, and was able to win the award of the MVP 2010. The upcoming NBA season will witness this 6 feet 11 inches player as a part of San Antonio Spurs, and the experts believe that with the other Brazilian Nene absent, Splitter would be called upon. Experts also say that with Nene missing the FIBA and Tiago in; this might be the stage where this player comes up with a breakthrough.
Carlos Arroyo
One of the most important positions in the NBA is that of a point guard which is adeptly handled by the Puerto Rico guard Carlos Arroyo. Experts say that Arroyo is one of the most accomplished point guards on the international stage; he is looking to lead a Puerto Rico team that is said to be a lightning fast. Denham Brown
One of the most talented players in the Canadian squad who was a dominating force during his high school basketball career is Denham Brown. Not being able to achieve much during the latter part of his career during his time in the NBA, he managed to find a career overseas with the Philippines Basketball Association. He is remembered for the 111 points he scored in a game during his Basketball Career in high school. Playing along with Miami Heat’s centre Joel Anthony and New York Knicks Andy Rautins helping him out, experts say that he is expected to score loads of points this time.
Nando De Colo
With a whole bunch of French players sitting out from the 2010 FIBA Championship, the team still has a lot young talent that could be a replacement for players like Tony Parker and Joakim Noah. One of these players is the ever-so-talented guard Nando De Colo, who stands 6 feet 6 inches tall. Although this player wasn’t able to come up with performances that he is capable of against the USA in the exhibition match, experts say that he is one player who has loads to potential that make him one of the best and competitive players, when it comes to big stage. The developments in his game for the past few years are the reason that this player was drafted in the Spurs in 2009.
Robertas Javtokas
Another player to watch out for during the championship is Robertas Javtokas, the centre of Lithuania. This big man is regarded as one of the best in the business and has been a part of the national team since 2002. After being involved in a motorcycle crash Robertas has recovered and become one of the dominating players of the game again. This player according to experts has a lot of talent and with the FIBA providing the stage, speculations are that the players will shine out bright.
