FIELD HOCKEY question. it's about nylons?

hello. well for field hockey we were told to go out and buy "nylons". i couldn't find them in the field hockey of the sports store, where should i look. are they even called nylons?

please help.

and, what is the purpose for these nylon shorts?

i think they go under regular shorts right?

***** sporting goods would prolly be a good place. and if they arent in the field hockey section, you could check softball cuz they wear them sometimes under their pants.  they can go under regular shorts. we call them spankies on my team and we wear them under our kilts so we dont flash the world while we're playing haha. you can also get them maybe in a cheerleading section cuz they wear them under their skirts. hope i helped=]
