Resident Evil: Revelations breaks into the United Kingdom software sales charts but could not manage a top five finish, while Modern Warfare 3 moves up a few places.
Another week has come and gone in the year 2012 and there has been plenty of wheeling and dealing in the world of video games with plenty of money being exchanged for a considerable amount of video games.
The top ten best selling games of the previous week have been disclosed and there has been plenty of movement in the charts as well as a few new entries, and by few we mean only one.
Zumba Fitness 2 kicks things off at the number ten spot, with the game selling rather well on the Nintendo Wii, while Ezio Auditore de Firenze’s swansong managed to stay in the charts just a little while longer as
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations finished ninth.
Saints Row: The Third’s wackiness still seems to be interesting a few gamers as enough copies of the game were sold to settle it in eight spot while the original
Zumba Fitness finishes in seventh.
Resident Evil: Revelations has landed in Europe for the Nintendo 3DS and debuts in at the number six spot, narrowly missing out on a place in the top five.
That however, was largely down to the fact that Battlefield 3 is still selling rather well and so is
Just Dance 3. The latter happens to be the follow up to one of the best selling games of 2011.
Coming in at third place is the epic action role playing game, and that is not a description to be used lightly,
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which continues to fly high in the charts.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes in second in the charts as the modern military first-person shooter climbs up a few spots, probably after calling in a kill streak reward on the other titles.
Bad jokes aside, the number one selling game in the United Kingdom for yet another week is none other than the best footy game out there,
FIFA 12.
The developers at EA Sports tinkered with what was already a winning formula and the risk paid off as the new dynamics in the gameplay have taken the experience to a whole new level.
