FIFA Street Pre-order details get Messi
Gamers who pre-order their copy of EA Sports’ upcoming FIFA Street game will get their hands on the “Lionel Messi Barcelona venue” as well as other in-game goodies.
For those gamers who are excited about EA’s return to the FIFA Street franchise there is some good news in the form of some rather novel in-game extras.
Firstly, those who pre-order the game will get access to a unique arena in which to play out their overly stylish matches. The “Lionel Messi Barcelona venue” will be available to those who book their copy of FIFA Street before hand and is a reimagining of
the Placa de Catalunya, which the Barcelona number 10 himself assisted in the design of.
Apart from that pre-order also comes with an Adidas All-Star team. One may ask the question as to which players are in this All-Star team. Well, it seems that EA have no confirmed that as yet but Messi is one of them and there are set to be 12 others.
However, seeing how the team is sponsored by Adidas one can safely conclude that only those players who are sponsored by the sporting goods company will make the team. So it would be highly unlikely that Real Madrid superstar, Christiano Ronaldo will make
the list.
According to Sid Misra, the Lead Producer of FIFA Street, “The all-star team will be a must-have for street football fans wanting to play with the most stylish and skilled team in the game. Along with the iconic environment inspired by Placa de Catalunya,
out fans will enjoy the added flavour and depth that this special pre-order offer delivers.”
We were also able to spot Zinedine Zidane, the former France and Real Madrid legend, also strutting his skills. One can expect him and many other greats to be a part of the team.
Also the latest instalment in the FIFA Street series is set to run on the same physics and physicality engine as FIFA 12. This implies that it will be a much less scripted and more open, free flowing game as compared to its predecessors.
It has also been confirmed that to add to the flair factor in the game the skill move set for FIFA Street has been expanded. Apparently 50 new skill moves have been added to the game’s locker for players to master and use to embarrass their opponents.
FIFA Street is set to hit shelves next year in March, yet gamers who are tempted by the pre-orders can go ahead and reserve their copy of the game in any of the leading retailers in the region. Those who are not sure can wait for our in-depth review before
they decide on whether or not to spend their hard earned money.
