FIFA World Cup 2018 - FIFA delegation to visit English cities for the 2018 world cup
England; the country of unique culture and glamour is amongst the countries who are bidding and interested to host the biggest football event of the world in 2018. A committee from the FIFA will inspect the English grounds in a four day inspectional trip on Monday. The FIFA inspectors will also meet the Deputy Prime minister in the Ten Downing Street before visiting the stadiums of different cities. The English football manager Fabio Capello will deal with the delegation and help them during their visit to the different stadiums and cities.
The final decision about the selected country to win the bid for hosting the world cup of 2018 and 2012 will take place on the second of December. There are total twelve countries, which are competing hard to organize such a prestigious and the biggest show for of the world’s most favourite sport. England is not the only among the favourites to succeed but the Russian Republic has also got some favourable chances of winning the bid to host. The international governing body by FIFA has recently visited Russia. During its visit in Russia, the examination group was guided by Harold Mayne Nicholls the president of the CFF. Other dominant countries like Japan, Australia and South Korea are also hopeful to win the bid to host the 2022 football world cup. The assessment of the delegation is not over yet because after the four day inspectional trip of England the delegation will further check the facilities offered by Qatar, United States, Portugal and Spain to host the cup.
The chief executive for the 2018 bid from England Andy Anson seemed much relaxed and confident that England will win the bid and will host the world’s biggest soccer competition in a marvellous way. While talking to the media Anson said that he is very much confident to win the bid as England is offering the best facilities around and it will be a fantastic tournament. Anson added that this week is very crucial for them as the delegation from FIFA is about to visit the candidate host cities. He admired the role of other countries and said that every candidate country and city has worked hard and showed a great interest for the game of football, which is no doubt a good sign for the future of this wonderful sport. Andy Anson is of the view that England has the capacity to facilitate and provide all the required needs of a mega tournament, which can affect the whole scenario of the game in a very positive way. Later he added that England’s proposal is very strong and he is hoping for the best.
While talking about the ongoing process, the English Deputy Prime ministers Nick Clegg expressed his views and said that he is very happy to see that England is one of the candidates which are bidding for such a wonderful event. He added that he is happy that the government of England is backing and supporting the 2018 bid team. On the other hand Mr Robertson the sports minister from the government of England expressed his views with sheer excitement and told the media that everything is fantastic about it and he cannot wait to see the results. He added that it will be a great effort to promote football in England at a higher level. Robertson seemed very confident while saying that England has got a great potential and will definitely prove as a very strong point to be selected as a host.
England’s campaign is backed by the government officials and some highly rated stars like the former English national team captain David Beckham. The world cup of 2018 is certainly going to be an eye candy for the people of the world as some of the famous and richest cities of the world are offering their best to earn the bid for the mega event.
