  1. Yes, it's old, but in my opinion it's one of the best games ever made! XD

The thing the entry above me was talking about is the boost, but it can go way past one hundred. The maximum is 255. Hold the select in battle, and press the square button as fast as you can but stop when there's a red x on the hand. If you press square while theres an x, it will start back from 75.

But since diablos' attack is percentage, the boost will NOT help you. It depends on the relationship between his level and the enemy's health.

When you get him, he's level nine, so he only damages 9% of the enemy's HP. So if the enemy had 1000 HP, he would do 90 damage.

When you level him up to lvl 100, he will take 100% of the enemy's health points. Even if he's level 100, he can only do 9999 in a single summoning.

For example, a T rexaur, which has about 20 000 HP will only be damaged 9999 if Diablos is level one. but if your diablos was level 50, he would do 9999 damage anyway because it's about half the enemy's HP.

    Hope that helped!

  2. Diablos' attack is based on a percentage of your enemy's HP, similiar to Demi. Most likely, you're just not fighting monsters that have much HP.

  3. hahahaha i know what you are talking about...it doesn't explain this in the instructions....you have the charge the GF...you hold down select and then you press the square button over and over it will show you a thing in the corner you have the press it at certain times and try and get it up to 100, you can only charge it during the movie part, i found if you really want to get it up high use a turbo controller.

EDIT: oh yeah....diablos.....thats the only one you don't charge.....the guy above me is right

  4. he damage a certain hp percentage of the monsters. If i remember correctly 30% . If a mob has 1000hp it will do 300hp damage. if it has 10000hp it will do 3000hp damage. if it has 50000 it will do 9999hp damage. That is how it works.

  5. that is because youi still have to train him....
