FIREFOX setup and activation after EVERY TIME my computer restarts. ?

mkay so i recently got with the times and finally downloaded firefox.

it ran perfectly until the recent upgrade they sent out. now if i restart or turn off my computer it does the setup all over again. i've lost all my bookmarks and anything else as far as settings that were saved on firefox and it only loads things that were prviously saved on IE. this continues to happen whenever my computer loads. what do i do? help.

Have you downloaded any add-ons?  Or are you sure that the trouble started with the 3.01 update?

I have had some problems with some add-ons.  Uninstalling them has fixed some speed loading issues etc.  You might also try downloading the entire 3.01 and reinstalling over the top of your current install.

Sounds to me like you've accidentally placed your installation problem in place of your regular firefox link. Try opening firefox from a different icon than you usually click on. For example, if you use the desktop icon, then use the one from start->program files-> etc.

firefox is the worst and not stable

get Maxthon instead , very fast will all plugins and addons you need and it is free
