FISH, Need help....?

Question

Tomorrow we are bombing the house, using Foggers and stuff to get rid of bugs. Will it hurt the fish at all???

not if you cover the tank really well so nothing gets in it.

i'd drape a tarp over it and secure it around the tank with a bungee chord or rope or something like that. but i really dont know if the fogger stuff is bad for the fish or not. you could always call and ask the store or company thats doing it just to see if they know

Its best to take the fish out of the house!  If that is absolutely impossible, turn off filters and every thing and cover tank with saran wrap or something - of course you cannot leave it like this for very long.

if the fog touches the water than it will get oily and the fish will get poisoned and most likely die if you cant move them witch i strongly recommend then at least cover them well and be carful with those bug bombs fires have started before and some small houses have blown up i saw it on this show mythbusters on the discovery channel.

It could, just make sure the top of the tank is completely covered.  I would reccomend putting a blanket over the top of the cover just to be positive its covered.

YES it will harm the fish...my sister bombed her home for fleas and didnt take her prize fish out anywhere and when she came back home they were dead. So please take your babies somewhere safe...= )
