Question

i give my fish cucumber sometimes but when my big white fish eats it it makes a popping noise what is it and why do they do it its really annoying

also is it natural for my sucker fish to get terratorial it doesnt like it when my other fish go to the bottom of the tank he chases them back to the top

I too give my fish cucumber.

The popping noise is just your fish burping!

When a fish eats it will do all sorts of funny things. Burping,it will run around quickly, it will go tho the bottom and sit still. its all normal

and your pleco (sucker fish) is like that because when other fish go to the bottom it cannot eat in peace for fear of being nipped at.

i also give my fish cucumber as a treat , the noise your describing is air coming out as they eat. suckers can be aggressive when other fish go near them, mine usually chase the other fish all around the tank before getting bored

The noise you describe is quite common my clown loaches are always doing it, what is your sucker fish mine is a golden chinese algae eater who is killing my fish attaking my gouramis and just being a thug he will be going back. Good Luck :)

ah that&#039;s easy the sound you are hearing are in fact air bubbles oh yh i had a sucker fish too and they can get quite aggressive  but unfortunately fo my fishes the sucker fish actually killed them pitty really...   i suggest you put your fishes in a separate tank or sommin

I would personall ring the vets and a ask about it because you never know you could have a serious problem on your hands.
