I'm currently pregnant with multiples and on bed rest .I had to take an early leave from work due to pregnancy complications .My FMLA and Short term disability benefits will expire 2 wks before my doctor will allow me to return to work. My Doctor requires all patients to be 6 wks postpartum before allowing them to return to work. My company informed me in this situation I will no longer be entitled to my job or benefits. If terminated will I be able to file for unemployment?

  1. I believe you should be entitled to unemployment benefits in this situation.  I would suggest that you discuss telecommuting, if possible.  If worse comes to worse, talk to the press.
