FMLA and Unemployment?

I'm currently pregnant with multiples and on bed rest .I had to take an early leave from work due to pregnancy complications .My FMLA and Short term disability benefits will expire 2 wks before my doctor will allow me to return to work. My Doctor requires all patients to be 6 wks postpartum before allowing them to return to work. My company informed me in this situation I will no longer be entitled to my job or benefits. If terminated will I be able to file for unemployment?

I believe you should be entitled to unemployment benefits in this situation.  I would suggest that you discuss telecommuting, if possible.  If worse comes to worse, talk to the press.
