Question:

FOAM mattress VS. COIL mattress?

I'm a student looking to buy a new mattress. I don't want to spend loads of money since I'm not going to take it home once I finish university.

Anyways, what's better a foam mattress or tight top coil mattress?

These are the ones I've been looking at. Let me know which one is best and the benefits of one or another. THANKS :)

If you know of any other store or another mattress, please let me know. Any help is welcomed :)

  1. Ikea is great for mattresses! They are good value and very well made.

I have a coil one from them and it has lasted 4 years so far and will last another 6 at least I reckon.

It all depends on personal preferences. My house mates when I was at uni had foam and swore by them.

I would always recommend trying out things like this - go to the store and have a lie down!

  2. Forget those regular mattresses and get a memory foam mattress topper pad. You'll be glad you didn't spend a ton of money on a new mattress. Read a couple reviews at http://memoryfoamreviews.com/memory-foam...
