Football is my life. it is almost all that i live for. i want to be able to have a future in football but im only 5'8 5'9 168lbs and im not getting any taller. my coach had me playing on varsity line last year when i was a freshman and wants me to play both ways this year. i just want to know what positions i could play in the future that will have colleges looking at me being as short as i am. i am a good athlete. i am the strongest in my school and i train for football year-round.

  1. Running backs and kick returners are pretty small guys sometimes, cornerbacks too. Or you could be a place kicker or punter, but you might be in too good of shape. lol

  2. you're options are somewhat limited with that size. if you add more weight you could be a fullback or running back. if not you could play corner or wide receiver. i don't see any other position for a guy your size. work on your speed and give it a shot.

  3. I hope you're fast... DB, KR, or PR.

  4. i kinda gotta agree with some of the other people, i think corner would be ure best option. of course tight end is always an option if u can block and catch. u could probly try safety to if u wanted.

hope this helped and best of luck :)

  5. It just all depends on your style of play. Also what positions did you play last year on varsity? From what your telling me i would put you at a WR position and CB position. At WR i would have you run reverses if your fast. Whats your 40 time? CB would probably be your best bet tho

  6. Maybe a back or safety.  You won't be playing on the line at a higher level.  Concentrate on doing your best and working hard.

  7. AL DAVIS WILL DRAFT YOU.. IF YOU HAVE SPEED..

  8. corner back buddy ur the perfect size dude a db position is best or a tight end if ur fast and have hands then u can kill both these positions.

  9. somewhere in the secondary or WR.  Steve smith is only like 5'9
