My cousin had there strip at the time and it was the best thing I had ever seen, I got one for Christmas lol.  Plus the players were brilliant at the time, Folwer, McManaman and McAteer

Bloody Liverpool 'fans'.

I remember in the years after they won the European Cup 3 times between '77 and '83, loads of the guys in my class at school became Liverpool supporters.

Would of been ok if we lived in Liverpool, but it was Dumfries for f**k sake !

Everyone running out at PE wearing the yellow Liverpool top with 'crown paints' on the front, and me feeling like a pillock on my own, in my blue Queens top.

I am not a supporter but I have a soft spot for them.  When I was a lad they were a fabulous side to watch (Dalglish, Souness, Barnes,Beardsley, etc), and were the dominant team in Europe for many years.  Plus the fact that they come from a working-class city, I love to see them put one over the toffs from down South.
