  1. what is the significance of that paragraph? do you even know francais? Parle-vous francais sil-vous plait? Yes, I know there are no accents, but that is because you must use a series of numbers and the alt key to create them. I am sorry but i have lost all intrest in translating that for you. bye. I hope someone else will do it though.

Is this for homework or are you writing to a pen pal? If it's for homework, I hope you won't just copy the French paragraph; try to learn something!

    EDIT:

I'm sure Yves M means well, but 'closet' is not 'toilette' nor 'chambre de toilette' (this expression does not exist). It is 'placard' or 'garde-robe. ' Also, 'volets' -- not 'vlets' -- means 'shutters,' not 'blinds.' They're usually found on the outside of the house.

I do like Yves M's last sentence, but as I indicated at the top, I chose to give you a literal translation. That means I stuck as close to your English text as I could, in structure as well as in vocabulary. I think this reflects the level of language of your English text. Yves M's version is what is called a free translation, which is closer to an adaptation. Sometimes that is the right choice, but in this case, he makes the sentence almost too good, given the level of language of your original.

  6. Why is this in the dining out section?
