Question:

FORD FOCUS! - Wiring up a sub + amplifier?

Basically I want to run my red power lead from the battery, through one of the rubber gaskets, out from behind the glovebox, and then under the carpet, running all the back to the boot. (trunk, for you yankees)

Now, all i'm after is details on this, and only this.. if you don't know the answer to these exact questions, you're of no use lol

Which is the easiest gasket to penetrate?

Where exactly is it located?

Is it easier to penetrate from the driver-side footwell?

Any details from someone who has done this in the past, or currently drives a Ford Focus with an Amplifier/Sub etc would be a MASSIVE help

I did the same on a Vauxhall Corsa C but it was much easier, as it wasn't quite as good build quality, the Focus is a lot tighter in areas, soo.... anyone? help? please?

Thanks in advance, and.. a big fat 10 points & a "best answer" goes to anyone who can resolve this for me =)

  1. Now Now children let's not fight.

You may have to find a good spot and drill your own hole and then use a grommet to push the wire through.

  2. I would start by pulling up the carpet and looking at which grommet has the least wires going threw it, and has the most space left in it, this would then be the easiest to push the wire through. I wrote this in proper english so that you might be able to get your limey brain around it and think for yourself, on something this simple
