He m MARGARET RAMSOWER 1791,had 4 sons, 1 daughter to my knowledge. Benjamin, Adam, Richard, Francis Jr. and Nancy. Resided Frederick Co Md. Can't find parents or his birthplace, can anyone help ?

There isn't anything online about his parents. But I can make a suggestion. It appears they were Catholic and they were married in a church service in Frederick MD. Contact the Catholic churches in town that were opened at that time and ask for a copy of their marriage record. Also see if there's a death record on him with the parish, too. Most marriage records kept by Catholic parishes also listed the names of parents and sometimes offered the name of the parish where he was baptized. The records are in Latin, so you'll have to Anglicize some names (like Franciscum=Francis). But you'll be able to figure it out pretty easily.

I found this information on www.familysearch.org it doesn't give Francis' parents names but I shall continue to search to see if I can find them for you.
