  1. henry

  2. Our enery...no question...

  3. henry cooper, frank is a lovely man and done alot for british boxing, but he never had that killer instinct.

  4. Cooper had all the tools to be Heavyweight champ he just had a bad habit of bleeding too much. Great punch, iron jaw he was a great heavyweight at an age when Ali who he almost had out in the 4th dominated.

Bruno had two things, the body of Mr. Olympia and a hard punch, (ask Lennox Lewis). But no chin and weak stamina the opposite of ''Our Enry''. If this is a who would win question, I think Cooper would have massacred Bruno ala Tyson within 5 - 8 rounds.

  5. Easy answer, Henry Cooper.

Remember, he was cheated out of a win by Ali's corner men.

  6. Cooper was a good Heavyweight, had a great chin, and threw a good shot, particularly with the Left Hook. The only problem was that he had a tendency to bleed a lot. Bruno was strong, had a good whack, and I believe had a decent chin, it's just that whenever he was really tagged, he fell apart psychologically. He wasn't all that clever a tactician, and never learned to deliberately drop to one knee and take an eight count. He also had a tendency to badly tire from rounds 10 to 12.

Cooper is the much better tactician in this. If he can catch Frank early with a big left hook, then I believe it would shake Frank's confidence. Cooper gets cup open by Bruno, but takes a lot of punishment up and down from Henry, and in the 11th round, with a badly hurt and wilting Bruno trapped on the ropes, the referee Mickey Vann (I appointed my dream ref) steps in and waves the contest off.

Henry Cooper TKO 11. Yer know wot I mean, 'Enry? Heh Heh Heh.

  7. Hurr hurr hurr dunno wot you mean arry

  8. if our 'enry had had some Brut on,he'd have knocked Bruno's block off.......know what I mean,'arry!!

  9. Frank Bruno would address Henry Cooper as SIR even without the Knighthood, and truth be told so would the rest of us.  I gotta agree with AceMan and the rest of the Cooper crowd, if Cooper could almost KO a prime Ali, Bruno would be in over his head.

I say Cooper by KO, Frank wouldn't have Dundee in his corner to cut his glove and gain him more time to revive.

  10. Depend on who is the referee. Henry had thin skin and was easily cut, Frank can punch so if the referee stop the fight within 5 rounds due to excessive bleeding then Frank win. Frank had stamina problem, so if the referee let the fight go on then Henry will stop an exhausting Frank by the 7th round.

  11. bruno by knockout. remember henry cooper was a very small heavyweight or even a cruiserweight by todays standards & bruno would have been too big & too strong.

  12. Most people are saying Henry Cooper but Bruno had underrated boxing skills and a great jab. Remember how he was easily outboxing Lennox Lewis before being stopped himself. I think Bruno would have stopped Henry Cooper but unfortunately for Henry again it would have been because of cuts.

  13. henry cooper has been tko 5 times in his career and he been ko clean 6 times. all these fighter were C class fighter that destroyed cooper. The only 2 famous fighter that stop cooper was Ali who only won by cuts but floyd patterson lay out henry cooper. cooper lost some fight before the first ALi fight, cooper lost some fight after the first Ali fight and cooper  lost some fight after the 2nd Ali fight.

Cooper was just a lucky fighter against Ali as Ali is not use to fighting fighter from such a low level

  14. Henry Cooper.... no problem!
