what is svc? its been rainy here and stormy. I live in washington, clark county. There was an emergency messgae on the tv. But it just said "civil authorities message" But thats all it said!

So heres 10 points!!! whats svc and whats a civil authoritie message? THANKS!!

SVC Service

Civil authorities message would be from Civil Defense when bad weather or other natural occurrences that are life threatening or pose other problems are happening. Apparently the tv service was interrupted before the message was fully displayed.

the antennia reception is down, due to the blockage of the sky. I have that when I go  around bad weather. It will clear up on it's own. It can be due to lightening and power outage.
