I dont care if it is for windows, mac, or linux, i have them all.

i just want it to be free, and no demos/trials

i recommend iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter,it's easy to operate and support free upgrade.

Handbrake:

convert dvd to MP4, MKV, AVI, OGM, AAC, MP3 etc.

Great on Mac, but hard to handle on windows OS.

DVD decrypter:

copy dvd files to pc, but have no subtitle and audio track option and cannot convert vob to other video.

If you wanna do it for your media player, you need a video converter to conver vob video...

NOTE: this programme cannot work on windows vista.

Handbrake(free) it has version for windows and mac

or aimersoft dvd to ipod converter, I use it for a long time, it can easily convert dvd to ipod mp4 with high quality, that's really nice, you can check them out here for free
