Question:

FREE website-suggestions?

I am volunteering in my neighborhood Homeowners org. as an Internet-secretary. I am planning an Internet-accessible website for posting our monthly newsletter.

This newsletter will contain the basic reports of our meetings, neighborhood-related announcements and general information-postings that relate specifically to my neighborhood.

What free website links, or specific categories are available for these types of postings?

I want for ANYONE with an Internet access to be able to access this updateable (by myself) website.

Thanks.

  1. I would go with a wordpress blog hosted on the wordpress site.  This makes it completely free!

Just go to www.wordpress.com and setup your account, be sure the "Gimme a blog" box is checked and you have a free website where you can add the content and the wordpress platform will handle all of the site design and management.

HTH and have a great day!

  2. You can start a free website at www.thevillage.com and post your newsletters in the articles section. You could either type the newsletter into their text editor or you could upload it as a PDF. Either one would work well for anyone on the internet.

Then you can change the name of the "articles" link to "Newsletters". It's pretty easy to do, they have a support team if you have any trouble. Good luck.
