Matsui DTR1 - set top box.

I have been given a set top box to receive FREEVIEW and everything works perfectly - apart from - TELETEXT which seems to have some sort of fault - it appears to work then flickers and flicks off and back to the television programme.

BBC text service work perfectly.

Any ideas you good people? Or do you have an address for the manufacturer - or sales agent?

Any help would be much appreciated.

  1. This is typical of a Matsui product - this is a curry's own brand and is about as low on the order of price and quality as you can get - even Alba is better quality.

With the currys reputation for its service or lack of it and their "The light still comes on when its powered up so its still working" attitude.

you're not going to get them to fix it and if you wanted to pay for a repair then it would cost more than a new unit.

This is best recycles and a decent Freeview box such as Goodmans (lowest quality I would recommend to be reliable) or better.

Sorry but Matusui are disposable products as Far as the maker/Curry's are concerned.
