FRESHMAN liking a JUNIOR?

Question

So I like this junior, he is in my art class, and he is 16 and i turn 15 in October. Idk if he likes, me, he has shown signs of interest, and thats all, do you think its ok for me to like him even though he is a junior,? and if we went out is that ok too? please help me

I think it is totally fine. I actually like a Junior too. I didn't even know he was at my high school until the year started. But if he flirts with you or shows any signs of interest, use that to your advantage. Start flirting back. Something could come of this.

its actually ok. A girl who is younger than a guy is actually the best way. only 2 years apart. it's no big deal.there is not much of an age difference. try talking to him and communicate with him. hope u get him!

As long as he's under 18 you can legally date him...I dated someone 17 when I was 15 and that worked out pretty well. It'll only turn weird if you are together when he leaves for college....try flirting with him a litttle, guys like the younger ladies!

age should never be an issue for romance. it happens. i know of sophomore-senior couple in my school. if he has shown signs of interest i say go for it, you never know what could happen : )

at my school theres people that are freshmens that are dating seniors so its okay.

and if hes flirting with you..flirt with him back.

or if your confused if hes interested in you,then ask him questions about your appearance.

like..put some lip gloss on,and if hes the only one sitting next to you,ask him "does this look good on me? its new,i was just wondering" or something. just little things to see what his response is.

or give him little hints like stare back at him if hes staring at you and hold it for a good 3  secs. and shly smile when you look away=]

I think it is perfectly fine for you to like him, and I think dating him would be fine too (but you may want to talk it over with your parents to make sure they are ok with you dating an older guy).  When I was a junior in high school, I dated a freshman guy.  His parents knew me, and were ok with the idea of dating him dating someone older.

One of my best friends was dating a senior this past year when she was a sophomore. They are still dating, but he graduated. They are so in love, it's amazing. They met through her friend and he was dating someone else at the time that he didn't really like(I think). They broke up and my friend and him have been going out ever since. What I'm saying is, take a chance, you could end up like my friend!

its like that song...age aint nothin but a number..he isnt THAT much older than you...before i graduated there were tons of freshmen dating juniors...its totally common...ur fine dude...and you will never know if he likes you until you give him a try...so get to know him and let him get to know you...
