  1. an example of static friction is when you have an object of some weight sitting on the ground. it takes a certain amount of force to be applied to the object before it starts moving. this friction force while it is standing still is the static friction.

    sliding friction would be the friction on the object while it is moving. once you apply enough force to get the object moving it takes a little less force to keep it in motion. that means that sliding friction is a little smaller than the static friction value.

    rolling friction would just be a car rolling in neutral. eventually friction will bring the car to a stop.

    for fluid friction you can think of water flowing through a pipe. the water velocity in the center of the pipe is some value and decreases to 0 at the walls of the pipe.

    sliding- wen ur hair frizzes wen u rub a blanket on ur head

    rolling- rolling a rubber ball on the floor then putting it over ur head and ur hair sticks out
