While T20 format of cricket is most entertaining and exciting and generate lot of money for the players, organisers,sponsors etc., I dont't think it will be liked by the ardent supporters of cricket who would love to see the class, style and technique in batting and bowling as these are absolutely missing from this form of cricket.  help to develop talent  This will not also help in developing talented players.

I think this version is entertaining and could be the incarnation of cricket that might finally break into the American market.

I'm a bit of a cricket purist, but I think T20 will involve more people in cricket.  My kids find cricket a little boring but they love the T20 version so for me that speaks volumes.

20-20 can take the game to next level and this has come in the right time.

Cricket was loosing its popularity in a Great cricketing nation like West Indies but after 20-20 was introduced the spectators have increased and the game is back.

IPL is given a hope even cricket can become popular like football leagues.

Cricket has become better and bigger.

I think it is a joke, once the aussies and sth africans go, the IPL will be boring with mostly duds playing, the aussies have ruled this farcical tournement.

i was thinking once all the good players have gone, maybe the indians could play that german slapping game, but instead of slapping the whole way through the dance, there would be ONE slap, then a lot of crying, boo hooo.
