8 Year old side by side- I noticed 2 months ago that my fridge was warm, but the freezer was cold. Then I noticed that I had a large mass of ice 2" - 3" thick located inside the bottom of the freezer floor & bottom wall partialy covering the vent, which I suppect was caused by the freezer door not being shut (ice melt) and the ice from the ice maker dripped down to the bottom. I unplugged the unit, removed the vented back panel located in the back/ bottom of the freezers took a hair dryer to it for 1+ hrs, removed melted ice (water) and replaced panel and fired her up, to my surprise, the fridge area cooled down to normal temp within a couple of hours. I thought I was home free...The problem is, I have repeated this process 8-10 times over the past 6-8 weeks (every 5-7 days). It keeps forming ice on the coils only, not the floor. Please help ASAP!!! Thank You Rico
