***FRUSTRATING AUTOTRADER website problems? Anyone know what's going on??

Hi I am looking to but a car and so have been looking on various websites including ebay motors, freeads. I have found the autotrader a good site to find exactly the cars I'm interested in but when I get a list of possible cars to look at when I click on the picture or ad title to get the full details, it just opens a blank window?? And it also looses my search and turns that into a blank screen aswel!

It has been happening every time I try and get full details and bigger photo of any car on the site! What's going on?

Anyone else having the same problem? It's so frustrating because I can't even find out the contact number for the seller or see pictures other than the tiny one on the search results list!

Go to www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and it will tell you if it is AutoTrader or your provider that is having the problem.

I have just checked Autotrader.co.uk and Autotrader.com wesites and have no problems viewing any of the details. It could well be your browser settings...

Internet Explorer

Tools, Internet Options. Privacy tab - Check setting for Internet zone. Click on sites, in new pop up box type in Website address and select allow.

Pop-up Blocker check if turned on. Click on settings, type in address of website to allow and add it to your list. Click on Close and then OK. Shut down Browser and re-open. Try the website again.

Tools, Options, Privacy - select accept cookies from sites.

I have had the same thing on Autotrader.com occasionaly.Maybe your Computer is not allowing cookies.
