FSV Mainz manager Christian Heidel has stated that he honoured to guide his team to the Europa League after a great season last term. He expressed his delight on a tremendous season which saw Die Nullfunfer finish fifth in the
Bundesliga.
Mainz have improved considerably in the last few seasons after being promoted from the second division in 2009. The club finished ninth in the next season and a brilliant fifth last term accumulating 58 points. Heidel’s side won

way up. The manager admitted that he is privileged on being the fifth best club in the country and hoped to continue the great performances.
