FSV Mainz manager Thomas Tuchel is desperate for three points against Stuttgart- Bundesliga news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 on Friday. The under fire tactician admits that the opposition is very strong and is in some great form but
Mainz will surely fight for a victory in front of the home fans.
Die Nullfunfer are going through a dreadful run in the Bundesliga as they have been unable to secure a victory in the last nine league games. The club won the first two matches this season but has not been able to win since the
2-1 victory against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462 in August.
Mainz are currently 15th on the Bundesliga standings table with nine points from the 11 games played so far and have win two times only, suffering six defeats in the process.
Tuchel claimed that Stuttgart is a very strong team and have a lot of quality players in their squad. He admits that three points are very important as the club do not want to fall in the relegation zone after another loss.
The manager hailed the supporters for their brilliant support throughout the season and remained hopeful that the fans will be there to back their team.
“Stuttgart are an extremely strong opponent, they run with lots of power and force the game forward. It will be an interesting game where we want to keep the three points. The atmosphere was incredible against Bremen. It was extremely
loud and extremely supportive,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart boss http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Labbadia was wary of the threat Mainz can cause and warned his side against complacency. He urged his players to put in their 100% and to play for a result.
“I do not think any team in the Bundesliga, who we aim to beat, is that much less than we are. But we know that we will do well if we give 100%,” he added.
Mainz and Stuttgart will lock horns at the Coface Arena on Friday, November 4. Stuttgart will be looking for their fourth victory in six games in all competitions.
